NO POVERTY, ZERO HUNGER.

Poverty and Hunger are two inter-related contemporary societal issues with adverse effects especially in Africa. Despite global forums and their efforts, these plaques seemingly increases by the day. However, there are significant recorded achievements to combat these ills.
Extreme poverty leads to hunger in Africa. If you cannot afford food it means you are poor and vice versa. Africa has the highest rate of malnourished people worldwide. More than 30% of African children suffer from growth disorders such as stunting due to their chronic malnutrition. It's important to pen down the striking fact of Africa's self sufficiency to carter for its needs.
Daily, people including children continue to die in their numbers. To efficiently and effectively trash this issue out, specific attention should be tilted towards remote and strategic causes of these adversities. For instance some of the causes of poverty in Africa stem from unequal resource allocation. This issue alone has the efficacy of generating into an inter-state conflict. The immediate result is extreme poverty, hardship and hunger where these conflicts are not resolved based on mutually acceptable decisions. Corruption and poor governance cannot be left out. Their long term effects breeds poverty and it's supporting consequences. However, where these causes are flushed out socio-political and economic growth sets in with everyone inclusive, defeating stagnating societal odds.
The realities of poverty and hunger are discomforting. Sufferings can be alleviated when root causes are resolved.
